Moody Childcare and Youth Services Center offers a dynamic and engaging after school and program designed to keep children active, learning, and socially connected while school is out. Each day is structured to balance fun and enrichment, giving children opportunities to explore new interests and build important life skills.

Throughout the summer, children participate in themed weekly activities that may include arts and crafts, science experiments, music, and creative expression. Outdoor play is a key component of the program, with organized games, sports, and water activities that promote physical health and teamwork. The center also incorporates educational enrichment through reading and math time, STEM-based projects, and interactive learning experiences to help prevent summer learning loss.

Special activities, such as Vacation Bible school, day camps, field trips, and overnight away camps (ages 10 and up), provide additional excitement and exposure to new experiences. Social-emotional development is also emphasized, with group activities that encourage cooperation, communication, and positive peer relationships.

In addition to engaging activities, Moody Childcare and Youth Services Center ensures that children are well-nourished throughout the day. Nutritious meals are provided, including breakfast, lunch, an afternoon (PM) snack, and supper. Meals are designed to meet children’s dietary needs and support their overall health and energy levels during their time at the center.

Overall, the summer program at Moody Childcare and Youth Services Center is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can have fun, stay engaged, and continue growing throughout the summer months.
